Women’s Help Center. Sanctuary is just that, a refuge, a haven, a safe place, a home. A place where women find ongoing love and acceptance. We provide information and assistance to women in need of help due to divorce or marital issues, abuse, pregnancy, illness, addiction, emotional or mental issues, financial issues, housing issues, unemployment, legal aid, etc.

To support, encourage, empower, and restore all women in Christ. To help them become the whole and unique women God created them to be and begin walking in their God given destiny.

A women’s center to help women in need. Sanctuary for Women, Inc. is incorporated in the State of Alabama as a  Non-profit organization. Sanctuary for Women, Inc. is an exempt organization as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (Tax ID 46-2956161) and, accordingly, donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by the law in your particular jurisdiction. Individuals outside of the United States may not be entitled to a tax deduction for gifts to Sanctuary for Women, Inc..

We are founded on the message of Psalm 40:1-3, to support and guide women through healing. Psalm 40:1-3- 1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. 2He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.

Goal: The center is a complete resource provider. We do not have all services on site; however, we will arrange appointments, maps, and transportation if necessary to get the assistance that is needed. When women walk out the door, they will have a recovery plan in place to get them back on their feet.

The center consists of several offices where women can obtain assistance for the following:

• Unplanned Pregnancies(we support life)/Adoption
• Inner Healing

9-      Recovery Plan

The center also provides:

1-      A small library/bookstore where women can get resources to assist in their healing and recovery.

2-      Support group meetings either on site or send them to locations where they are held
